Manual Lymphatic Massage (MLD) is a type of massage that encourages the natural drainage of the lymph fluids through the lymph nodes, which carries waste substances away from the tissues back towards the heart and improves circulation. MLD also helps to improve lymphatic system functions, which aids in the recovery of a healthier immune system, as well as tissue and organ functions. This is a highly recommended treatment to experience after liposuction, tummy tucks, cool sculpting, lymphedema, and after other surgical or medical procedures. MLD indirectly reduces migraines in those suffering from Traumatic Brain Injuries.
